YMCAは、1844年にイギリスで誕生し、日本では1880年に東京YMCAが設立されました。それ以来、欧米文化の紹介、ボランティア、スポーツ、キャンプの普及、語学教育などを通して日本の近代市民社会の形成に大きな役割を果たしてきました。
そんなYMCAが英語学校を始めたのは、1890年、明治23年のことです。新しい世界へ飛び立つもののサポートに、ことばを学ぶ機会を与えたい。その願いを中心に、100年以上の伝統を誇るYMCAの英語教育は流行のみに流されることなく、本質を見据え、みなさんの学習をサポートします。
